         of IBM’s Deep Computing Institute -  Blue Gene
         Watson employed Top500 supercomputers,

         ranked as high at # 2 worldwide 
         -  many insightful simulations of human biology and

            new materials
  • 2001 – 2005  Department Manager, Visual Technologies
       -  data visualization, 3D graphics, image processing
         - Deep Computing Visualization offering
  • 1988 – 2001  Manager, Image Library Applications   
       - digital libraries, with high-quality imaging and digital 
          rights management, often for web sites of cultural
          institutions. Partners included: the Vatican Library, 

         the National Gallery of Art (USA). the Hermitage 
          Museum, and the Egyptian Museum in Cairo.  
         These projects won numerous awards.

        - image processing methods and software for printing, 
           publishing and soft-copy display of images

        - researched signal processing architectures, 
           applications, and algorithms
